Can we please have a massive round of applause for this cat named Chewbacca?
There are some things about the UK - little quirks, really - that really make a country. Like how when people think of the London, they think of pomp, pageantry, London cabs, red telephone boxes and London buses. Westminster Abbey, the Big Ben, Tower Bridge.
And then there are the strange things that perhaps don't seem to quite fit from the get-go, but still are a part of what makes a place - things like massive immigrant communities.
Which I guess kind of explains why we would run into Marcus and Sue Lynn Lee while in London, of all places. (I never even see these guys when I'm in Singapore!)
We happened to run into them right outside Borough Market, the big food market in London, which was pretty cool.
Of course, the four of us being Singaporean, there really was no more fitting place for us to have run into each other than Borough Market - it's the food search instinct in us calling out, y'all!
I cannot get over how amazing everything here looks, smells and tastes. It's food heaven.
I happened to see this stall sell exotic meats, which I guess is pretty cool once you get past the initial surprise of eating crocodile, zebra and llama.
It's on my bucket list to try as many exotic meats as I can - kangaroo, zebra, llama, emu, bring it on!
After we'd had enough of food, we decided to go to the house of Haydn. Because, you know, music and all that.
We happened to find out that Jimi Hendrix had once rented a room here, too, which was pretty cool.
Followed by pho at Selfridges, because it was my first time ever having pho and it was surprisingly delicious. (Rachel Harris, you'd be proud of me!)
Selfridges sells the strangest and most wonderful things. Designer Marc Jacobs diet coke? Check.
London isn't complete without watching at least one musical. We chose to watch Les Miserables, because although I know the cast recording by heart I've never seen it live.
It was good, you guys. It was really, really good.
Doesn't hurt that the guy who plays Maurius is pretty good-looking, too.
And that Geronimo Rauche, who plays Jean Valjean, has a voice of liquid gold that could melt stone-cold hearts.
Because there's never a reason not to engage in fan-stalking.
