You guys are amazing!

WE ARE PAST THE £200 MARK!!!!!!

I can't believe this! The hitchhike to Amsterdam is tomorrow (where on earth did all the time go?!) and already we've managed to raise £202 for the Cheetah Conservation Fund and Breakthrough Breast Cancer!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to all of you for helping Jasmine and I get to this point. There's still some time to go before the hitchhike tomorrow, so please please donate!! (Clicky here!) To be honest we were both unsure whether or not we'd be able to raise anything at all for these charities, but thanks to you guys we're more than halfway there, meeting our target goal of £350.

Yesterday my team met up to discuss potential routes and strategies both for raising funds and for getting to Amsterdam. We're a little freaked out now - now that we know that this is really happening, we're just in a mild state of shock. Hitchhiking from Edinburgh to Amsterdam is probably the last thing we expected to have happen to us while we were here on exchange!

This goes without saying, but also of course don't forget to stay tuned and watch this space, because I will be blogging about it after the race is over. The race kicks off 9AM at Bristo Square on 9 November, this Friday.

Thank you everyone for giving so generously to help the cheetahs and to fight breast cancer. It's all thanks to you that we've come this far already, and we have so much more of a way to go before we hit our target of £350! It doesn't matter if you give £2, or £5, or £10 or £30 (Keren my dear thank you so much for being our top sponsor!!!) anything that you give comes from the heart and will go a long way towards helping these causes.
